| Press release: Madison kitchen - June 2008 |
France’s most innovative kitchen makers, Hardy Inside, have come up trumps with their inspirational Madison design.
Madison is a novel concept that allows architects and designers total scope to create a modern, contemporary and chic interior by using beautiful free-standing units in combination with elegant wall units and the “bistro style” serving bar.
Focal points are the large light oak framed blackboard for recipes and personal memos, the Belfast style sink, which gives a distinct retro feel, and the mid-height 4-door storage cupboard with a factory hand painted finish, and nostalgic brass cup handles which are repeated throughout the kitchen.
The open pedestal of the Belfast sink and another free-standing food preparation unit are finished in Hardy Inside’s rich and sumptuous Guérande red which is reflected on the walls and combines beautifully with the oak frames, plinths and skirtings.
Subtle mouldings accentuate the centre panels on the drawers and storage cupboard which also features understated tongue and grooved side panels repeated on the façade of the bistro bar.
Eye catching suspended down-lighting helps to bring the whole contemporary feel together as does the chequerboard tiled feature on the floor.
Clever storage solutions such as this recycling unit, usefully situated next to the sink and preparation zone, complete the picture.
Madison is a superb example of how Hardy Inside thinks outside of the box when it comes to stunning kitchen design.
Hardy Inside kitchens start at £15,000
